Both Larry and Glenn live in Paignton, Devon, England having left the employment of the Optoelectronic manufacturer Bookham in 2006 and previously worked at Nortel's centre of Manufacturing excellence.

We were both involved in the transfer of the manufacturing capability to Bookham's Chinese Manufacturing site, and have travelled to various customers, suppliers and competitors all over the world.

A renowned and respected Engineer, Larry has over 36 years engineering experience.

His particular areas of expertise include Eutectic and epoxy die bonding, wirebonding and packaging, as well as Mechanical design and Toolmaking/Workshop expertise.

He has extensive knowledge of all aspects of process control across the range of optoelectronic assembly from chip process to package final test.

He has also managed teams of engineers responsible for equipment design and build, maintenance, process control, product cost reduction and all aspects of equipment transfer to the far east.

Glenn has worked in the Engineering industry for over 26 years.

Glenn's qualifications and expertise include a BSc degree in engineering materials and design, and a proven record of Troubleshooting and process improvements.

Glenn is recognised throughout the world as an expert in "lidding", but his training and experience goes much further having worked in all Opto Electronic process areas and previously managed over 30 Engineers/Technicians with a £30M budget to set up a volume manufacturing centre of excellence for Nortel Networks.

Some major achievements include, removing all CFC chemicals from Nortels production cleaning processes in 1988. Improving process yields from 40% to 99.8% on ceramic package sealing in 1999. Managing volume growth from 250/week to 78000/week in 2001. Outsourcing manufacturing to Philippines in 2000 and China in 2005-2007.
